Looking to stay active this Fall? Here are some ways you can actively enjoy the weather this season:
1. Walk in a new park that you have never been to 2. Sign up for a Turkey Trot on Thanksgiving, or create one of your own in your neighborhood with whoever you celebrate Thanksgiving with 3. Make a fall scavenger hunt to do with your kids- include things like three different colored pumpkins, a turkey, a pilgrim, a house with Christmas decorations already up, etc 4. Meditate outside before work or school 5. Take a minute to appreciate the crisp air by going outside and closing your eyes to feel the cool air on your face 6. Do a “plankful”- hold a plank each day while you say 3 things you are grateful for 7. Go apple picking 8. Pick at least one night a week to go for a walk after dinner instead of watching TV 9. Have a relay race while carrying pumpkins 10. Walk in your neighborhood and observe all the different trees outside your own door
